English Online
This interactive website helps adult immigrants improve their ability to read, write, listen and speak in English. The online lessons are based on situations you’d face at work or in the community. You may receive online support from teachers by e-mail or Skype to help you as you learn.
If you want to use English Online contact WELARC or, outside Winnipeg, your local English as an Additional Language program. Or, simply visit the English Online website and follow the instructions to request enrolment.

Learning English with CBC Manitoba
The CBC is Manitoba’s public radio service. This free website uses weekly newscasts to create interactive lessons to practise language skills while learning about current events and hearing the expressions and style of speaking in Manitoba. Each week a new English lesson is added.
