Your source for in-demand skills

For Manitoba business, the new “reverse brain drain” equals opportunity.
Along with the zeal to start life anew, immigrants bring global knowledge, education, work experience and English ability.
At Manitoba Immigration we have three opportunities for you:
How to hire immigrants
- Contact a local immigrant employment service
Manitoba Immigration has a network of specialized organizations that ready immigrants for the workforce. They will help you find people with the skills you need. - Participate in job fairs and “skill-matching” services
Manitoba Immigration partners with organizations such as the Winnipeg and Manitoba chambers of commerce to hold job fairs and online “job-matching” services for internationally educated workers. - Post job vacancies on Canada Job Bank
These opportunities are scanned by thousands of international and local candidates who use our Working in Manitoba Tool. - Participate in international recruitment events
The Province of Manitoba has labour mobility agreements with several countries – Iceland, The Philippines, France, Belgium and Germany. We regularly travel to these and other countries to interview candidates who have the skills you need. - Contact us
We’re here to help you. Manitoba Immigration may provide assistance with employee recruitment, screening as well as programs to improve employee integration and retention.

Improve employee English
Manitoba Immigration will cost-share customized, on-site language training. Dealing with the language used in your day-to-day operations, the English at Work program will improve safety, increase the pool for internal promotion and succession planning, improve retention and help attract more skilled employees.
