After you arrive visit Manitoba START
At Manitoba START you will meet with a counsellor who will assess your personal situation and help you find the help you need to adjust to life and find a job.
START services include:
- registration for ENTRY, our orientation program for new immigrants
- referral to an employment service that will help you with your career plan
- referral to the immigrant settlement worker in your neighbourhood
Manitoba START is at 228 Notre Dame Avenue. VIEW MAP
Visit the office 8:30 a.m.- 4:30p.m. Monday, Wednesday or Friday; 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday or Thursday. You do not need an appointment.
Outside Winnipeg: If you are moving to a different city or town find the local immigrant settlement service at: Towns and smaller cities.
